Phone Activity Monitor (PAM)
PAM Inbound Pull Down Menus
File Menu
- (Re)Login - This menu option is used to re-log into Pam Inbound monitoring as a new User.
- New Server/ACD Monitor - This menu will invoke the Server ACD login window to allow the user to select a new Phone server and ACD Id.
- Add DNIS - Use this menu option to add additional DNIS's to the current monitoring session. Enter the new DNIS and click OK to add the DNIS to the current logged in session. Clicking Cancel will abort the addition of the entered DNIS.
- Reset DNIS's - Use this menu option to Reset or wipe out the current activity for all DNIS's or a specific Selected DNIS or DNIS's from the list of currently logged in DNIS's and start over gathering new activity to display.
- Automatic Logging - This menu option is used to turn the capture of inbound activity to a disk file.
Write to File - Press change to invoke the select file dialog allowing you to locate the director where the log file is to be stored, enter a log file name and press open.
Summary/Detail - Select Summary or Detailed information.
Log every minutes - Select the time interval to write statistics to the log file.
Remember minuets of data - This option allows PAM to keep statistics in memory, this is used with the immediate log feature.
Click Ok to establish the defined values.
Selecting Cancel will abort this setup process.
Selecting Change will invoke a standard windows select file dialog allowing the user to specify where the log is to be stored on the system.
Once a path is chosen the Log every minutes option will be activated allowing a value to be entered.
Immediate Log - This menu option is used to output the current Inbound activity to a disk file in a comma delimited format that can be imported into a spread sheet software package, summary or detail information can be chosen.
Write to File - Press change to invoke the select file dialog allowing you to locate the director where the log file is to be stored, enter a log file name and press open.
Summary/Detail - Select Summary or Detailed information.
Click SAVE Settings to establish the defined log file.
Selecting Cancel will abort this setup process.
SAVE and Print will print the current information to the log file defined.
Logout - This menu option is used to log out a specific DNIS from the list of DNIS's currently being monitored.
Exit - Selecting this option will exit the current Pam monitoring session.
Edit Menu
- Frequency - This menu option is used to establish a rate in seconds that the current monitoring information is to be displayed.
New Frequency - This field with a default of 5000 milliseconds (5 seconds) is the amount of time to wait before refreshing the screen with any new information, This field can be set from 200 milliseconds on up.
Clicking Ok Will set the frequency to the provided value and returns to the main PAM monitoring window.
Clicking Cancel will abort any change returning to the main PAM monitoring Window.
- Alarm Thresholds - This menu option is used to establish the threshold for all alarms. There is also the ability to save all the user defined settings ass a theme.
Save As Theme - Pressing this button will invoke the save theme dialog allowing the user to name the theme, give it a description and add it to the list of already saved themes.
Load Theme - Pressing this button will allow the user to load in a select Alarm theme or delete any no longer wanted themes.
Monitors Menu
Agents - This selection will invoke the Agents Phone Activity Monitor.
Inbound by DNIS - The current defined monitoring session.
Predictive - This selection will invoke the Predictive Dialer Activity Monitor.
Help Menu
About DSCPam - The about window provides general information about PAM.
Clicking OK will return to the main PAM monitoring window.
